In der Zwischenzeit gab es viel anderes zu tun, weshalb es keinen weiteren Fortschritt gab.
Darüberhinaus hat Mary Nagel-Phillips mitte Juni ihre Datenbank aus dem World Connect von RootsWeb entfernt, so dass von dort leider nicht mehr abgeschrieben werden kann. Dies ist deshalb bedauerlich, weil die Forscherkollegin aussagefähige Quellen zu den jeweiligen Ereignisse hinzugefügt hatte.

Zum Start von Webtrees gab es ja das Problem, dass das Genealogie-Programm "Familienbande von Stefan Mettenbrink" beim Gedcom Export die Quellen nicht in die Gedcomdatei exportieren konnte. Dies war mir zwar schon seit einigen Jahren bekannt, und ich hoffte immer, dass der Entwickler dieses Erforderniss in sein Programm einbaut. Leider war dies bis Anfang 2015 nicht der Fall. Und weil die Datenmenge immer weiter wuchs, hab ich mich entschlossen, jetzt einen Schnitt zu machen und mich mit einem neuen ganz anderen Programm zu befassen. Dies war dann der Grund, für den Umstieg auf Webtrees  So müssen nun für 19435 Personendatensätze die Quellen zu jedem Ereignis, also Geburt, Taufe, Konfirmation, Beruf, Heirat , Tod und Beerdigung jeweils erneut manuell eingepflegt werden. Dies ist eine sehr mühsame und zeitraubende Arbeit, aber unumgänglich, da es mir wichtig erscheint, dass zu allen Ereignissen eine aussagefähige Quelle die Datenherkunft belegt.

08.04.2015 - Datenbanklimit erhöht, Webspace Tarif geändert, da es sich herausgestellt hatte, dass Webtrees bei der großen Anzahl an Datensätzen zu wenig Arbeisspeicher zur Verfügung hatte, und dadurch verschiedene Programmpunkte mit einem "FATAL ERROR" quitiert wurden. Jetzt sind wir zuversichtlch, dass wir mit den Kapazitäten in nächster Zeit klarkommen. Jetzt kann die eigentliche Arbeit mit Webtrees beginnen.

07.04.2015 - Erste mühsamme Versuche neue Personendatensätze einzugeben, und diese anschließend mit ihren Quellen je Ereignis zu verbinden. Dabei hat es sich herausgestellt, dass neue Quellen jeweils bei den Personen angelegt werden müssen. Bereits angelegte Quellen lassen sich dann schnell und Problemlos mit den Ereignissen wie Geburt, Taufe, Konfirmation usw. verbinden.

06.04.2015 Bereinigung der GEDCOM Datei durchführen mit anschließendem Import nach Webtrees. Die GEDCOM Datei wurde mit dem kostenlosen Programm Familienbande in einem Zeitraum von ca. 10 Jahren  erstellt und beinhaltet 19435 Personendatensätze und zum Zeitpunkt des Imports die Verknüpfung zu 880 Mediendateien. Da die Mediendateien bisher lokal gespeichert waren, liegen diese in einer relativ großen Auflösung vor.

Es ist soweit!

Nach einigen Testläufen, und einer vollständigen Neuinstallation von Webtrees in der Nacht zum 05.04.2015 haben wir die Entscheidung getroffen, Die Datensammlung "der DEHLINGER von DEHLINGEN"  Im Internet via Webtrees zu präsentieren.
